Palmer Golf Course at Westin La Cantera Resort Golf Club, The Description
The Resort Course's design includes natural water hazards, such as swift running streams and waterfalls, which come into play on several holes. Six holes offer panoramic views of the San Antonio area. Several oak trees line the fairways, and the greens are large, fast, and undulating. Seventy white-sand bunkers are spread throughout the course's design. This course has two signature holes. The first is #7, a 316-yard, par 4, which is a breathtakingly beautiful quarry hole called "The Rattler," and featuring a unique rattlesnake-shaped sand bunker on the left side of the fairway, along with several other fairway bunkers you'll need to avoid.
