TPC of Myrtle Beach Info

As host of the Ingersoll-Rand Senior Tour Championship, TPC of Myrtle Beach affords the everyday golfer the opportunity to play the same course as the professionals. Since opening in February 1999, this course has gained a reputation as one of the most scenic in Myrtle Beach, and for good reason. The course is situated in a national wetlands conservation area and has been classified as a "Stage 1" partner of the Audubon Society. Turkey, heron, deer, and even the occasional alligator can be seen throughout the course. There is a surprising amount of elevation change on the fairways, so you can expect to be faced with an occasional uphill lie. The greens are dotted with two to three sand bunkers each, and while they are generous in size, the subtle sloping can provide for some tricky reads. The signature hole is #17, a 193-yard, par 3, featuring an elevated tee and a green surrounded on three sides by water.
