Secession Golf Course Description

This long course usually has wind coming into play on every shot. The signature hole is #14, a short par 4, requiring an approach shot over the marsh that guards the front of the green. Hole #9, a 620-yard, par 5, is very long and it's nearly impossible to reach the green in two. "GOLFWEEK" selected this course 50th among "America's 100 Best Modern Courses" for 1997, 25th for 1998 and 37th for 1999. Guests must be accompanied by a club member in order to play this course. Walking is mandatory and all golfers must be accompanied by a caddy.
