Flamingo Golf Course at Lely Flamingo Island Club Map

This club has three championship courses. The Mustang Course opened in 1998 and is the newest addition. This layout forces players to use their course management skills and position the ball off the tee. Tee shots will have to be strong and precise on these long fairways. The Flamingo Course is another public layout, while the Classics Course is a members-only course. Robert Trent Jones, Sr. considers the Flamingo Course to be the finest public course he has ever designed. It's located on rigorous terrain with a large variety of hazards. Four sets of tee boxes make this course interesting for all skill levels. The fairways are tree lined, and the greens are fast and undulating. The signature hole is #5, a 200-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot to an island green. There are lakes that come into play on eleven holes.
