This course features fast, undulating greens and several elevated holes. The fairways are narrow, however, generous landing areas are a saving grace. "Golf Digest" selected it as the "Best New Affordable" course for 1999. Target golf best describes the strategy on the course, which is dictated by the ever-present reminder of trees lining all of the holes. Prudent shot placement is a must. Five sets of tees offer challenging play for everyone from the every day player to PGA pros. More than 100 varieties of vegetation are featured on the lush course, highlighted by statuesque, mature oaks. Although the course is relatively new, it gives the impression of being a well-established, mature course. A deep green color tops the fairways, allowing for quick divot recovery and enhanced ball elevation.
